Carson Beckett/Paul McGillion Thunk Thread

That guy I'm going back and forth with on the friends/more than friends issue, the one that's being the butthead...he's a cop. Him and another cop were bike patrolling in one specific area last night and he had a little accident. Which it's absolutely hilarious that he fell of his bike, but it's not funny he got hurt. He hurt his arm pretty bad. Didn't break it...but it's banged up pretty bad. Which sometimes is worse, I know, been there. I just can't be mad at him right now and it sucks! But I am refusing to lend him one of my Carson clones...there's no telling what it might come back with. HAHA!

After capping some of "Misbegotten" yesterday I caught the capping bug. So I went ahead and capped some of "Common Ground." There's not a lot of Beckett but there are some great shots.

I'm sorry this is totaly off topic, but I just have to write it down

Two hours ago I asked my dad if I can go to a party my schoolmades are having. They already called me twice and he said (drunk, of course),I can go where ever I want to, and just be careful. And I must say I am careful, there are suppose to be round 25 of my schoolmates there (no more, because there are no more) and I know all of them, and I don't drink alchol.
I just wanted to go and he said "ok".
Then I asked him again in 5 minutes, because he forgets things when he's drunk and he said OK again and when do I get back. I said I won't be long, two hours perhaps, and I also said, I have a ride there and back from my friend.
In about 10 minutes I said goodbye to him and went to the car. We drove there and I got really exited (I don't normally attend parties, because it involves alcohol, but I wanted to go to this one, since it's suppose to be for my school-mate nad me because we had a birthday recently). A second I put my foot out of the car, my cell phone rang and it was my dad asking me where the heck am I.
I was like: "I'm out dad, you told me, I could go."
And he said (in a very threatening voice): "I want you to get home now."
I was on the edge of tears: "Why, you said, I could go. I asked you three times, it was ok, why do I have to go back?"
And he said again:"I want you back in 30 minutes," and he hung up.

I almost burst into tears. He always does something like that. I hate him being an alcoholic. He forgets things all the time. One minute everything is ok and the next is chaos.
Not to mention the fact, when I got home he didn't say a word. And my mum was crying, too, because my dad actually woke her up and started to shout at her, where was I.

Really, I just hate him right now. And the worst part is, tomorrow, he won't remember anything. He will just deny it.

I need some major hugs.
Again, I'm so sorry for this long off topic post, but I just really wanted to write down my frustrations since I have no one to share it with (all of my friends are at the party) and you guys are always so nice. God, I really need a hug.

Honey, I am so sorry. While my mom's partner isn't quite that bad, I know how it feels having to live constantly on edge, never knowing when or why you'll get in trouble, and having the person doing it either not remember or feel fully justified in their actions. It sucks, and you certainly don't deserve to be put through it. Sending lots of hugs and support your way. I hope he starts shaping up and ditches the alcohol, or you find a way to get yourself (and preferably your mom too) out of this situation. Until then, I wish you strength and patience to deal with everything.

There is a group that goes to Cons that dress as Jedi Chefs. They try and get celebrities to don the outfit and pose for pictures. If they get them to put on the whole Jedi Chef outfit, the celeb is called a Jedi Master Chef. If they put on part of the outfit, they're a Jedi Chef Apprentice.

The fact that they've gotten so many celebs to don at least part of the Jedi Chef outfit and pose for a photo is great.

I love the fact that they, the celebs that is, just let down their guard and went for it. It's nice to see their sense of humor and geekiness pop out.
