I'm just having a bite to eat first. Operation Dieting for Matt has commenced. So toast for breakfast (I adore my toast ), rye crispbreads for lunch (like pieces of cardboard ) and I'm having a Weight Watchers ready meal for dinner. I'm bloody starving.
Did I tell you all about my horrendous jeans related accident? Well.... actually it wasn't that horrendous. But it hurt.
I was cooking a casserole last night. I got the dish out of the oven (which is an under counter type) and stood stirring it. I'd left the oven door open just very slightly as I was going to put the casserole back in. Then I started to feel this painful area on my tummy. When I looked, the oven had heated up the metal button on my jeans and the metal had given me a small burn on my tum!
Ouch! Dearheart! What an awful place to get burned!
My story from yesterday - I've watched the movie "The Birds" waay too often! There's a flock of seagulls in town. Don't ask me why a sea faring bird is found so far inland in a desert. I don't know. Anyways, I was one of the last people on the playground rounding up kids to go inside. And the birds started dive-bombing for the various forgotten snacks the little guys left on out there. All I'm thinking is "Crap! It's out to get me!"
It'll be a loooong while before I watch that movie again.
Seagulls are bad about doing that. If you hold a piece of bread or something in your fingers and hold still they will dive down and take it out of your fingers (I have done that a few times) They can find small holes in a bag of bread to that happened us once there was a small hole or something in the bag and they tore into the bag and ate a big crater out of 4 or 5 slices of bread
Too right! No-one gets their beaks on MY fish n chips.
BTW remember the Doctor's clothes that are for sale on ebay for charity? There are still 2 days to go and the current bid is £30,100. Thats $47,521 Lucky Whovian who gets it.
There must be some very wealthy Whovians around. Mind you peoole like Steven Spielberg and Peter (LotR) Jackson are fans. Peter Jackson owns the 7th Doctor's clothes. Perhaps he wanted the 11th Doctor's to add to his collection.
