I agree. One of the nice things about going to friend's houses is looking at the new books they've got!

The whole parent/child reading thing is interesting. I read to both my children when they were young and encouraged them to read themselves once they'd started school. They're adults now & my daughter is an avid reader while my son's reading is restricted to the sports pages of the newspaper! Just can't figure out what happened!



I'm spending this weekend down at the beach ... now I'll spend my time looking for a holidaying Todd.

I just think it is a younger male thing, my son only reads what he has to for uni, but my daughter/s read books mainly the Twilight series. I like reading but really haven't gotten into it lately only with fanfiction - can't get enough wraith! And there are no books written about wraith that I have found.
