realistically, I don't see TPTB calling upon the ship. However, I at least expect some kind of follow up on "the loop" comment and clear smitten Zelenka. (I mean...I am a mcweir shipper but...)

Nothing in season 2 showed Z's crush but I'm hoping for season 3

I am guessing TPTB don't look at Zelenka and Weir as a crush thing. I am guessing that to them Zelenka is a geek, who suddenly realized that his boss was a female, attractive one at that and he got slightly confused.

Lets hope that Irresistable changes that. lol.

I don't think any of us really sees the ship happening but Zelenka/Weir is a lot quicker than saying fans of Zelenkas cute little unrequited background crush on Weir. I certainly hope they keep it going, its little background stories like that that give a series its depth.

Meh, I wouldn't complain. I think I'd prefer just developing a bit on what they have but I wouldn't hate it if they took it a little further. I think he's probably, character wise, a better match than either of the two main Weir ships, i.e. Sheppard and McKay.

Sheppard I will jump up and down on them if they dare do for several reasons.

I don't so much object to McKay as see it as a bit out of character for both of them. I think she cares about him but that he's a bit too insecure for her, in many ways their relationship seems at times almost parent-child more than anything else.
