Well most Teyla fans got screwed and sick of SGA so I'm not that surprised. I wish Rachel could get into more TV, I'd like to see her as a main character again. But not on any show that involves almost all of the guys from Stargate.
What other thread?
She was on an episode of NCIS was it ? not too long ago, personally, if she got into movies, not just TV, then she'd get somewhere. Get into a Gore Verbinski movie or a Michael Bay movie and volia! Instant movie career! Personally, seasons four and five didn't happen, I stopped watching around end of season three. It got too out of hand for me to tolorate anymore.
But still, I have good news! Those of us with DeviantART accounts will soon see my Stargate Atlantis stuff on DA in my gallery there One could say I am moving from ffn to another site. Some of the reviewers on ffn are either drunk, mean or both.

Rachel (and Lloyd and Caden too) is currently in Berlin - and will be at a convention in Paris next weekend. As far as I can tell from her tweets, she'll be in Germany for the next three months - don't know what for though.
I found these a while back, but haven't taken the time to load or do any art yet. Thought you'd like to see. I believe it was for one of her new songs... but not totally sure.

I think it's Lloyd that's working over there and she didn't want to leave him all alone. Good wife, if you ask me. You never leave your husband alone for that long period of time, if you can help it.

I had seen these awhile back, too. If I'm not mistaken, Rachel just turned 41. And she looks AMAZING! I have to say that I love the one with the smile the best. She's such a natural and beautiful.

WOW!! Sensual, sultry, smoking hot, and as if that's not enough, she also has a great smile. Rachel looks absolutely stunning in these photos.
Regarding SGA and Teyla, I just received an email update from Fandemonium Books that the next Stargate Atlantis Legacy book is coming out soon - June 28th. The title is STARGATE ATLANTIS The Furies (Legacy Book 4) by Melissa Scott and Jo Graham and it appears that it will heavily feature Teyla and her Wraith heritage.
The minute I saw Teyla on the cover, I was interested. So far, I haven't read any of the SGA books yet because I want to read these books back-to-back. Now that the last two books in this series are scheduled to be released later this year, STARGATE ATLANTIS Secrets (Legacy book 5) in August 2012, and STARGATE ATLANTIS The Inheritors (Legacy book 6) in November 2012, I may get started with the books 1-3 as soon as I'm able to order book 4.
Fandemonium also noted that they are working to make all of their out-of-print SGA and SG-1 books available on their site soon. I'm looking forward to this because these books will be my SGA fix beyond the DVDs of the series.

Reason: added author's name
I have no interest in reading the Legacy series one bit... no matter where they take Teyla's story (even though I have to admit that I don't like the underlying hints Graham and her co-writers write. I know where her loyalties lie).
I'm not going to ask what you mean by this because I suspect it's ship-related and that's not my interest. If this series of books doesn't appeal to you, then they don't appeal to you. No book is going to appeal to everyone.
However, my interest is in Teyla, so any book, fanfic, etc., that features her, gets my attention. If these books feature her well, I'm happy. From what I read about this writer, she "gets" Teyla, and that's all that matters to me. So, I will continue to anticipate each new book in this series.

Sorry, I'm not at all familiar with any of these books. Also I have no interest in reading them anyways. I had my fill of SGA. Could you explain what you mean? Thanks
I forgot that more than one writer is involved with each book in this series. Homecoming was written by two writers, Melissa Scott and Jo Graham.
I have the first two books, but hesitated reading them because, based on the production history of books in the Stargate franchise, delays can last years. As someone who hates long delays in any medium, I decided to wait until most of the books in this six-book series were available before I started reading them. There's nothing worse than really getting into a book/fanfic/TV series and then have to wait months, years, or sometimes forever, for any type of follow-up.
Another reason for my delay in reading this series is that I still want to try to catch up on reading some of the earlier SGA books before I start the Legacy series. That project should be easier now that Fandemonium plans to re-issue out-of-print titles in paperback form. I finally decided to buy an e-reader, so I was pleased to see that the newer books should be available in e-book form.
So far, I have the following books:
Stargate Atlantis: Legacy: Homecoming (formerly Stargate Atlantis: Legacy: The Return) (Release Date: September 2010) - by Jo Graham & Melissa Scott
Stargate Atlantis: Legacy: The Lost (formerly Stargate Atlantis: Legacy: The Missing) (Release Date: January 2011) - by Amy Griswold & Jo Graham
So, I have to get the following books:
Stargate Atlantis: Legacy: Allegiance (Release Date: November 2011) - by Amy Griswold & Melissa Scott
Stargate Atlantis: Legacy: The Furies (formerly Stargate Atlantis: Legacy: The Avengers) (Release Date: June 28, 2012) - by Meg Burden & Jo Graham
Stargate Atlantis: Legacy: Secrets (Release Date: TBA) - by Meg Burden & Melissa Scott
Stargate Atlantis: Legacy: The Inheritors (Release Date: TBA) - by Melissa Scott, Jo Graham, Meg Burden, Amy Griswold
The changing titles of some of the books confused me because I kept wondering if they were new books, but the total number of books for the series remained the same, so they couldn't be new. Very confusing.
I just noticed that the final book, Book 6, is to be written by all the authors for the series, so I'm really looking forward to this.
After I read each book, I'll post my thoughts here and in the SGA Legacy books' thread. It's been very entertaining reading some of the posts in that thread, even though some admitted they hadn't read the books. Some of these posters seem to be more interested in trying to defend their version of Wraith canon than they are in discussing the books overall. When a show doesn't give you much canon to work with, it's natural to come up with your own version. Unfortunately, some SGA fans seemed to have trouble with the authors' interpretations, especially since these books are backed by MGM.
What I love is, whether the posters agree with the authors' interpretations or not, no one disputes that these authors have taken more time to flesh out the world of Stargate Atlantis than the Stargate Atlantis TV writers ever did. I also love hearing that the writers in this book series didn't make the same mistake the TV writers did by focusing on McKay at the expense of many of the other characters.
