Except that Dresden Files got cancelled so SGA only has to compete with Eureka.

hee...there are a few shots where the blonde hair is that horrific but they're few and far between. Too bad about Dresden Files, it was a slightly entertaining show.

...you'd think after 2 years he'd start to find atlantis "normal".

eureka is airing now and i think it will be done before sga starts so how can it be competition? plus it airs on a different night.

I meant in terms of ratings and how well TPTB promo the eps during the week, although they should get some good spots out of two episodes because Lexa and Michael are both guest spotting on Eureka in Sept.

that was why i put "normal" in quotes. i was trying to say that whatever he was facing was probably normal...for atlantis.

really?--about lexa and michael? i hadn't heard that but honestly i don't tend to watch spoilers for eureka, i just watch the show. that should be interesting. i like colin who plays the lead on there--in a lot of ways he reminds me of jack.

they seem to be airing at least 1 atlantis commercial during the first run of flash--i think because it airs on friday. watching eureka--i seem to recall seeing between 2 and 3 commercials. i also think it was eureka that had the "clip" a couple of weeks ago but i can't remember now.

How can two shows airing on the same network be "competing" with each other? For something to be in "competition" don't they need to be airing at the same time? Psych is in competition with Atlantis because it's on at the same time on a different network, but if Skiffy's Friday night line-up is in competition against itself, wouldn't that mean that SG-1 is (or was) competing against Atlantis? Seems a bit counter-productive for the producers.

Also, how can one show airing on a different night be considered responsible for "killing" another show? Technically, even the shows airing in the empty slot aren't responsible, but if Atlantis got canned and Skiffy started airing Poochinski 2064 on Tuesday nights you can be damn sure people would condemn it sight unseen because "It killed Atlantis!"

Whatever. I'd love to see Kavan on Eureka. In fact, I'd rather have him as a recurring on Eureka than 4400 because I actually LIKE Eureka.

the new season's been pretty good, cko. i've managed to catch every episode, but here in the summer there's not many new shows on so i kinda look forward to tuesdays. they do repeat it later at nite. if you want i'll check the cable on tuesday and see if they repeat it another time--my cable tells me when shows are re-aired when they are airing the first time.

HI LorneLovers! *waves and hugs* Finally have time to thunk again. Its been about four weeks of craziness in RL but all is well now that hubs is home. I've miss all the Kavan goodness! I had to start back slowly on GW because of all the threads I wanted to catch up on. Needless to say it is impossible to do But I did read what you all have been up to and its nice to see you all again.

it looks like "stasis" is now not on tomorrow and "straight and narrow" is on instead. guess that's what i get here tomorrow--although i'm having cable issues and everything is to be announced after 1pm today. must have lost cable at some point while i was sleeping.

okay so they aren't nearly as cute as the pictures joe took of kavan, but here's the last of the wallpapers i did this week.

and now i think i am out of ideas...so if anyone has any suggestions or any specific episodes/shows/movies they want wallpapered, let me know.

tomorrow i may play with the pictures i posted early. i still have a ton of those to crop plus i still need to pull them off-line since they are in my photo-account.

I didn't know they canceled the Dresden Files. I liked it. Claudia Black was in one of the eps as a detective. Sorry to see it go.

But I love Eureka! Fun to know that Michael and Lexa will be on it. Kavan would be so great on that show too. I think he would fit right in on that wacky place, lol I went to the Eureka panel at the comic con and they are nicest cast....
