Love you, Cam!
Spoilered for non-Kavan gif:
Spoiler:
Cate--about the itty bit of snow. I lived in North Carolina for a couple years (near Concord, Cam) and it was the same, although we had about six inches that year. To me, it was silly--I'd just moved from New Hampshire, where six inches was barely anything to even mention; to them, it was a blizzard (mind, the mountains get plenty of snow from what my cousins tell me). It would be the same here in central Florida, too, I'm sure. Not a diss or anything, it's just if you're not used to handling it, you don't have the equipment and all, so it can be pretty overwhelming (six inches, not 0.393 of an inch--that's just sad
).

Tee hee! I just realized--was re-reading ITB the past week and I have a scene like this pic, but I think I wrote the scene before seeing the pic. Guess I just like this idea:

I must admit, though, it looks so pretty when it does snow - at this time of year, it just makes everything look so perfect!

Yeah it's great unless you have to drive in it. Despite the majority of the people in Charlotte being Yankee transplants, none of them can drive in bad weather. Course the fact that most of the time we get ice instead of snow doesn't help.sigpic

Hate ice too, I always slip up on it, so I've treated myself to some over-shoe grips, just to give myself that more chance to stay upright. Not had to use them, yet, but we've three more months of winter to go.
Roll on spring!
