Good one. Yeah, was it specifically written as Lorne or was it more like David Hewlett's deal where he was going in for a different role but in the end it was just easier for him to reprise the role of Lorne?

I remember that he said in an interview that he went to the Atlantis casting for no particular role. They liked him and remembered that he had played Lorne on SG1. So he is Mayor Lorne on Atlantis again, but it wasn't planned from the beginning.
