Like I said, I've emailed Darren. If it's just a matter of David having a personal grudge against me, then Darren might be more willing to listen. But if they're in accord on the idea of Lorne being a throw-away character, then I think Scifi World is our best shot for an interview.

I'm liking the idea of an Unofficial Kavan Smith fanpage, too. If we play our cards right then there's a chance of it becoming Official, too.

I'm a huge Kavan Smith/Lorne fan! Loved him from the first sighting of him. hehe ...

Anyway, I was planning on making a website for him and was wondering if any of you would like to help me out? Would you all like a message board too? I've been lurking here every now and then cause this seems to be the place to find all your Lorne.

Or maybe start a thread to discuss folks we'd like to see interviewed- with a slant towards secondary characters. That way we can chime in about Lorne, but others can make suggestions, too. And folks who don't post here might say, "Hey, Lorne, yeah, he's pretty cool! I'd like to see that!"

No problem. I love making websites for actors that really don't have much out there. I've got a few sites of those. hehe

Anyway ... I plan on getting a domain. I just need some help on deciding. Any of you have any ideas? I don't know if I want to make a website just for Kavan or just for Lorne. I could do a site on Lorne and have a section for Kavan ... ahhh the ideas! LOL What do you think of the domain name www.major-lorne.com hehe

Regarding the chances of a Kavan Smith interview for Gateworld... You guys will have to try and convince David without me. He said that so far, Lorne hasn't done anything interesting enough to warrant an interview and that he isn't going to do it just because I find the guy attractive.

That's insane! Lorne is a lot more than a pretty face! He has had a part in multiple clever conversations. I think Lorne was especially interesting in TLB. I think the way he and Weir interact is adorable and will no doubt be explored further. Kavan would definitely have a lot of ineteresting info that we have no access to as well. He's been on set and has access to scripts. Perhaps he could dish some dirt on "Coup d'Etat"?

The fact that Lorne/Kavan has so many fans tells me that he deserves an interview! (I think we have more posts in here than the entire Ford thread) Perhaps he could even tell us what TPTB were getting at with some of his more interesting lines.

Not important enough seems ridiculous to me. I think everyone visting this site would enjoy an interview from such a likable character. Not to mention all the little spoilers and behind the scenes info he could provide. I'll end the rant there.
