May I ask you experts a question? If I were to buy this head:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/TC02-02-1-6-...-/271040238453

(No, I'm not a Christian Bale fan, he shall stand in for someone else)

It says it the description "Hot-Toys-Soldier" so does that mean this head would fit onto that figure, right? If I learnt anything from this thread, that there are several different bodies with also different neck joints, and I don't want to end up with the wrong body. So which kind of figures could I look ad to add my head to? Many thanks for any advice!

The easiest way is to buy a figure from the head supplier, they usually do both. You can also buy the different neck joints seperately to mach your head to a body you may already have. I have checked and this seller also has the neck joints available.

I commissioned a very talented painter who goes by the handle of Skiman to repaint my copy of a resin 1/6 scale headsculpt of Richard Dean Anderson as Col. Jack O'Neill from "Stargate SG-1"-- he did a fabulous job! His commission fee is expensive, but worth every penny!

There are more photos of the painted RDA HS on Skiman's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...0596886&type=3

A big thanks to Ski for the fantastic job on the repaint! Once I get the headsculpt back, I can start to assemble my long-gestating figure of O'Neill!

That is amazing! I checked out the other pics of the RDA sculpt and am blown away by the detail.

The same sculptor- a fellow named Daniel Choe, aka Sunohc- also did very fine headsculpts of Chris Judge as Teal'C, Amanda Tapping as Sam, and Michael Shanks as Daniel. The fellow who commissioned the sculpts was selling castings of them-- that's where I got the RDA headsculpt! I think he still has some copies of each one. You can see the many sculpts Daniel Choe has done (including the SG-1 pieces) here: http://sunohc.com/sculpts/

I've made a couple of nice scores on eBay in the past few days. First, I was able to acquire a mint boxed Cameron Mitchell 12 inch figure for a total of $23.98-- then I bought some loose accessories from the 12 inch figures for only $9.99, with free shipping. From the description I thought I was getting one Zat, one GDO, and one radio-- imagine my surprise when I opened the package yesterday and found the seller had sent me two Zats, three GDOs, and three radios! I checked a site that sell pieces loose from the 12 inch figures, and by their prices I received over $30 worth of items! I plan on taking one of the Zats and modifying it so it will be in the open (firing) configuration for my custom O'Neill figure.

Here is a look at two ongoing projects I have at the moment. They a 7 inch customs of a Horus Guard helmet and Apophis. The Horus Helmet is in prototype phase at the moment with tweeks being done before I mould and cast in resin but it is coming along. The Apophis custom is probably 1/2 done. I have an open serpant guard helmet mould completed but not yet cast and I am on take two to make the eyes and hand device glow LEDs was clumbsy so I am now using fibre optics, but that is time consuming. Once they are sorted I have some minor skulpting and painting to do and customising the figure stargate stand for that figure to glow with blue LEDs in conjunction with the figure, I hope to put this on a motion sensor circuit so it comes on when you enter the room. For TB2 I will send you the Horus prototype to play with while I sort out the final cast moulds.

                        Hi Stubba,

once again Thank You very much, and the Horus head looks great, even at prototype stage! I'm curious to see your illuminating efforts on Apophis too. I can see I need to be keeping a closer eye on the thread!
Converting a human body into energy and sending it millions of light years through a wormhole. Bloody insanity!
Come on, how often do you get the chance to go to an alien planet?

I was a'ready on an alien planet!

Another eBay score for me-- I nabbed a Diamond Select 12 inch Daniel Jackson for only $19.99 plus shipping. I bought it primarily for the accessories!
