I think that given Syfy's history of cancelling shows (fairly good ones anyway) after five years, that Sanctuary will get another year, and then possibly be done.

And you can't ignore it has lost many viewers since season 3 has started, which goes against your theory completely. The fact that you like the path they've decided to take doesn't mean viewers are feeling or have felt the same way.

There's nothing "refreshing" about doing something other people have done before however being the huge Sanctuary fan that I am I know that they usually (but not always) manage to throw in some different aspects to other shows. So for the musical eppy I'm going in with no expectations, I'll either enjoy it or not when I see/hear it. Sky had a good idea and I'll have a nice aged scotch & coke ready at hand, just in case
Though I must admit that I'll be a bit critical on the singing side having grown up in a household with an alto soprano in it, you learn a lot about music and singing even if you don't want to-

I know Abnormal was just trying to counter the fanboy "everything is awesome" stuff but a little perspective is good.

I know we've had a Watson episode, as well as Tesla this season (with more to come) but I'm really missing The Five. I vote for a spin-off of The Five.sigpic
Thanks to yamiinsane for my lovely sig.

He's too interesting a character to let go. I'd also like an episode that focuses on The Five, but so far (at least from spoiler stuff I've seen) I just don't see it happening with the remaining episodes for this season. Anyone have other info?sally

It fit the story, but i cringed my way through it.
Personally, I'm cautiously optimistic regarding Fugue. Sanctuary has pulled off wacky ideas before IMO, plus they seem to have a somewhat scientific reason for the singing, which helps me buy into the conceit of the episode.

Originally posted by EvenstarSRV View PostWell, based on the interviews with many of the actors (AT, RD, RR, etc), they all seemed to really dig the singing and ended up wanting to do more. So while we, the viewers, may find it silly or OTT, it doesn't seem like the actors themselves felt humiliated while doing the singing, IMO.
