I don't celebrate christmas but I do want a tree -- a real one. It's a Nordman. It's soft and it doesn't make my hands itch after decoration. And the lights... oh my goddess, I love the lights everywhere.

Also, my Nissan Qashqai has antlers and a red nose on the front.

Lights are just about the best thing about Christmas!

I was thinking about you yesterday. At the store there were Star Wars ornaments. There was a cute little BB-8. If I did a tree myself, I would have bought myself one AND a Darth Vader.

Whoa! I've never seen an AAA office that nutty. But then again, I've never gone during the holidays..

I think it was because I hit it at 12:45 when people were taking lunch. The line was easily 15 deep. I went today at 9am and there was no line at all.

I finished my shopping!!! I think this is the earliest I've ever finished shopping before. My mom was the queen of doing all her shopping on Christmas Eve. It's actually a lot of fun trying to get it all done in one night like that. Stressful, but fun.

I saw an image of someone who painted the face of a Doctor Who Cyberman on a grey ball -- it did give me ideas but my sister would probably not approve me defacing the balls.

PS: The Avengers 4 trailer dropped this morning.

I watched it way too many times. It was odd, a funny kitten video kept playing right after the trailer. Like it knew I'd need the stress relief.

But in good news, I passed a test for my college program. I am now a "NHA Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS)". Of course, that's not something that's going to get me a job. The big test will be in May. I'm just glad I passed this one. I'm on my way, baby!

Oh, and that Avengers promo seems pretty damn epic! Maybe someday I'll watch the last movie past the point where Loki dies. See, my faves always die!!!

We had a grey fluffy star to put in the top of the tree, but decided against it this year cause Finn and Faro seem to find 10 different ways each day to get the star out of there, and play with it like a toy. I mean, we took it out of the box, Faro spotted it and before we knew it, it was already out of sight.

It's in my car instead now -- can't get to it there.

LOL. I have two trees, one four foot, one seven. Hidden beneath the tree skirts both are attached to plywood boards that are attached to weights....and I had to do the thing where you put the fishing wire through the tree to secure it back to the wall. Now the cats are one upping me. If they can't bring it down, they've decided to chew on them. They keep life interesting, that's for sure.

I'm tempted to "ruin" a few. The problem, they would immediately know it was me.

OTOH, dogs just go with the flow. My son and his wife moved the dog bed and put the tree in its place. She just circled a few times and flopped down in the new location. Never touched the tree. Oh and to add to the cuteness factor, she likes to lick the babies' toes. LOL

And those feet were probably in need of cleaning. Gotta keep those feet clean.

I had insomnia again (I should probably see my doctor about it) and instead of watching SGA I did my Christmas wrapping. I usually do my wrapping on Christmas Day (we don't do presents until nighttime). It's just too bizarre for me to be done so soon. Tomorrow I start making cookies. I'm making my late aunt's butterball cookies. So good. So bad for you.

Well my New England Patriots just lost again for a second week in a row. And of course the Raiders lost but that's hardly surprising.

Well, at least they all do it. Their cats are really weird in that they like running water much more than standing water, so they'll beg to drink out of the shower, for example. Cats are weird.

They are!! It's just butter, flour, powdered sugar, almond extract, and walnuts. Rolled into balls, baked, then coated with powdered sugar.

They are entertaining! I think when I finish school I'm going to get my own. I've been without a cat for a few years now. I miss having one.

Well, at least they all do it. Their cats are really weird in that they like running water much more than standing water, so they'll beg to drink out of the shower, for example. Cats are weird.

It snowed on saturday and sunday morning it was melting, and there were puddles in the yard... Cat at home was found drinking from such an icy puddle at one point, and then proceeded to go sit high and dry right above it.

Ours have a fountain with running water to drink from -- much better than standing water (especially since they keep dropping their food in that water and therefor it's always dirty -- their fault, not ours).

Many LOLz at work today -- I decided to get up with my sister at 6:30, therefor arrived at work around 8:20 -- before everyone else so the moment they walk in, they automatically check their watches cause they are confused with the time, thinking they're late instead of me being early (a full hour).
