I like it! Wish I had the skill to write something like that.

Here is a plot bunny from me: as the people on Destiny try to decipher the ship's secrets the SGC decides to get help from someone with years of experiance with Ancient technology. Specifically, someone with 10 000 years of experience: they get Todd (who as far as we know is still a prisoner of the Tau'ri).

So if Todd were to use the communication stones, what would he think of Destiny and the people aboard? And how would whomever swaps places with him feel about living in a Wraith's body? What would they make of the Wraith's telepathic powers?

Here's a plot bunny. Martouf and Jack get into an argument about something on a mission, Lantash comes fore and uses the flanged voice. Jack does not get scared and still stays in full tilt. Rescuing Sam could be a part of the argument.

I have a fanfic series I started long ago, and had to abandon for the last few years just for lack of time. Now, I need bunnies. I have never raised a teenager and only vaguely remember being one, so I need just basic life ideas for Janet and Cassie. For the record, I ship Sam and Janet and the stories would include that. I just want you to know what kind of home your bunny is looking at with me.

I've looked through a lot of this and haven't seen much, so I'm putting in an adoption application. Thank you for any help!

Albert Bender was the director of an amateur organization called the International Flying Saucer Bureau and he believed that he had finally blown the lid off the whole flying saucer thing. He had his own publication called Space Review in which he planned to spread his discovery. After compiling all of his collected wisdom on the matter, he mailed it to a friend to look it over before he unveiled it to the world. Unfortunately, this attracted the attention of the men in black, who decided that it was time to pay him a visit and prevent him from leaking all their secrets to the world.

A couple days later, Bender was on his bed when he suddenly had a dizzy spell. He noticed several dark shapes in the room with him that slowly materialized into men in black suits with black hats obscuring their eyes and faces. He noticed in particular that the men’s eyes lit up with an incredible glow and they seemed capable of speaking directly to his mind. They made him promise to destroy his findings and cease all of his research into the subject—Bender was so scared that he was only too happy to comply.

So if one were to assume those Men in Black were Goa'uld... what would they be doing on 1950s Earth & why would they care about Bender?

OK, here is an idea:

It's August 1, 2008.

The world is looking forward to the upcoming Beijing Olympics, Zimbabwe is fighting hyperinflation, tensions are growing between South Ossetian separatists and the government of Georgia, the latest film based on a Stephenie Meyer’s sparkling-vampire novel is about to hit theaters, the US presidential election campaign is in full swing... and a mysterious vessel appears in Earth's orbit.



Communication with the unknown ship proves futile, though high-powered telescopic images show that the "alien" vessel seems to have standard docking bays able to interlock with human spacecraft. After much deliberation, a joint NASA-ESA-Roscosmos crew is sent on a space shuttle to dock with the silent visitor...

So yeah, what if the Daedalus's alternate reality drive trials were conducted over Earth instead of Atlantis? What if the drive burns out over an Earth that never discovered its Stargates and has no idea about what's going on in the galaxy? Perhaps some of the original crew is on board to explain to NASA-ESA-Roscosmos what exactly is going on?

Here is something I never realized: the actor that played Varro, the Lucian Alliance soldier from S.G.U.? He previously portrayed a bunch of one-shot characters on Stargate: SG-1 and Stargate: Atlantis. One of the characters he played as on SG-1 was Odai Ventrell, a ruthless bounty-hunter that during his one and only appearance on the show nearly captured SG-1 and was implied to have in the end killed the leader of the Lucian Alliance, Netan.

So what if there is more to "Varro" than meets the eye? Perhaps he and Odai are in fact one and the same – he could have been sent to infiltrate Commander Kiva's strike force by a rival Lucian warlord, using the persona of "Varro" as a disguise. No one at the S.G.C. would be able to unmask him since during his time on Destiny he (IIRC) never met face-to-face with any members of SG-1 (Cam, Daniel, Sam, Vala or Teal'c) using the communication stones.

I'm... not sure where such a plot could be headed but it seems like an interesting idea to ponder.

Here's a couple ideas I've had in my head...these couple are episode ideas/plot lines I've had in mind for an SGU Season 3 that I thought were worth sharing.

Plot/Story Ideas:

* The first episode would show Destiny crossing paths with an asteroid that had been converted into an Ancient repair station by automated robots left by a seed ship. Nakai vessels would find this and attempt to board Destiny on it's approach to be repaired. They would ultimately be thwarted (I imagine this episode as a homage to Die Hard in terms of how this happens), and Destiny would be returned close to it's original state (but not quite).

* Episode 2 would be where the crew as a whole wakes up and learns of what's happened over the three years. Episode would end with Destiny finding a ton of Stargates; way more than the seed ships could or would produce.

* Eli would reveal that on orders from Homeworld Command he faked the broken stasis pod. This was done so that after the crew went into stasis he could use the stones to switch with Telford, who would take his place in stasis. Eli would spend the three years on Earth in Telford's body helping the SGC.

* Eli's main project was the development of a new ship; the Icarus. A science-exploration vessel modeled after Destiny and most importantly recreates Destiny's solar power collection system. If all works as planned, the solar power system in conjunction with additional generators will have the power to dial Destiny. Ship has had a maiden sub-light voyage but yet to test the solar collectors.

* The Lucian Alliance War continues, their newest tactic is to destabilize Earth by making contact with rogue governments/groups on Earth such as North Korea and supplying them with advanced weapons and tech.

Ok so this might be counted as less of a plot bunny and more of a gripe/challenge. Both in the series and in stories we hear that Jack was Special Ops/Black Ops, there is mention of him being the best fighter on base, yet more often then not in the series and in fanfic we never see Jack being a true bad-ass in a fight. He tends to get his arse handed to him a lot more then he kicks ass. So here is my challenge to all the writers out there. Write a fic and show off how much of a bad-ass Jack truely can be. (bonus points for super-powers without the "Upgrade" bracers)

Plot bunny: After meeting Kinsey and all the trouble with NID, Jack talks with Sam about coming up with contingency plans to deal with any possible threat from Kinsey, and puts into place the ground work for as many possible plans and backup plans as possible. What sort of outrageous scenarios can they come up with? What plans to counter those scenarios can they create? And what happens when Kinsey finally makes a move against Jack and SG-1?

Must start after the episode Politics and Kinsey must make his move against the team around the time of New Order. Can be J/S but can also be non-ship. Please no serious whumpage though minor whump is fine. (Though if you want to seriously whump Kinsey have fun.)
