Well, they probably weren't telecast in Switzerland.

What about the 1986-1991 series 'The Hogan Family'? It was also called 'Valerie', 'Valerie's Family' & 'The Hogans'.

              Yup, absolutely.
Pretty good show...Jason Bateman's(Arrested Development?)(brother of Justine Bateman[Mallory in Family Ties]) first big show...that's him, centre back.
It started out as the "The Hogan Family", it became eventually became "Valerie" when Valerie Harper("The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "Rhoda") replaced Sandy Duncan(bottom centre) had to leave for health reasons...I believe she developed major problems with her eyesight.

Actually, you've got that backwards. It started out as 'Valerie' with Sandy Duncan replacing Valerie Harper when she quit the show. Valerie was the mom who died on the show and Sandy was the aunt, the dad's sister who moved in when the mom died.

I remember this show. Didn't know it was a spinoff of Empty Nest though. I remember Nurses mostly from David Rasche and the actor who played Paco with their little schemes each week and that they could never really keep a consistent cast.

Oh yeah....."Nurses". I remembered Ada Maris (Capt. Erika Hernandez from ENT) from that show.

I don't recall "The Torkelsens" though.

Does anyone remember "Tales of the Gold Monkey" with Stephen Collins as Jake Cutter?

How about "Here Come the Brides?"

Really? Well then what happened when Sandy had to leave the show...or did it just get cancelled at that point...or maybe Sandy started having eye problems after the show was cancelled?

You're thinking of Sandy Duncan's 1971 sitcom 'Funny Face' that was the show that was stopped because of her eye troubles.

How about "Petticoat Junction"? Or a show called "Cleopatra 2525", which was on in syndication about the same time as Xena and Hercules. I think Gina Torres from "Firefly" was in it.

                          "Bridget Loves Bernie"?
