I do know that there is an AU fic with Martouf host to Jolinar, but I don't remember if there was any shipping with Sam in it.

As a fan of alternative history/alternative universe genera of fiction, I really wish there was more fics where Rosha survives and/or Sam does NOT become host of Jolinar. Seems that many (if not majority) of fics featuring Sam and Jolinar come up with convoluted plots to have the two of them blend no matter how different the fic's setting is from canon.

Hey, there is an awesome new Goa'uld/Tok'Ra story on AO3 called Lord John Sheppard Versus Earth (the title could probably use some work ).



It's a "Sheppard becomes a host" story, one that appeared a million times before, but this one is very well thought out when it comes to both the motives of the host & the symbiote. I also appreciate the AU worldbuilding aspect of the fic. Apparently it will eventually feature gay sex between Sheppard and Rodney but so far it (chapter 9 as of this post) it is safe for work.
