Yeah, I´ve seen and read those interviews They wanted to make us happy
Amanda: Jonathan and I talked about it, like we’ve keyed up all these little moments like Vienna in the spring and these little teases that we’ve given the audience. It’s a good-bye. It’s “I love you, get the F out of here because this whole thing is going to blow and one of us has to survive.”

Yep. She said the same this weekend at a German convention.
She also said that they are working on securing the rights to make a Sanctuary movie and that they'd do their best to get YJo on board. Not a big surprise, but still very nice to hear.
"Are you like, a crazy person?"
"I am quite sure they will say so."
Oh YEEEES!!!! es!, any link to the German convention, please??
I don't think there will be any links.
There have been quite a few questions re Nikola/JYo. I can try to relay them as best I can
Q: Who is more annoying to have around, Rodney McKay or Nikola Tesla?
A: Rodney McKay. Both are annoying but Nikola is annoying *and* adorable. Good that Sam could fell McKay with one lemon.
Q: How was it to work with JYo who had such a busy theater schedule but also such an enormous presence on the show?
A: We'd have loved to have JYo in every episode but he had to be available. We would call him and ask about his schedule, then write/shoot as much as we could when he had time. Because this is what you do for the actors you love. It was basically the same with Chris. He was shooting Hell on Wheels at the same time and those producers would coordinate with us when they could have him.
Q: Please tell us more about the movie. There have been rumors that Robin Dunne owned the rights. How can the fans help (crowd funding)?
A: We are working on securing the rights to produce the movie, RD is organizing that. So this is the main problem at the time. If we'll need fan support (I think she was talking about loads of letters to whoever is responsible), I'll let you know. I'll give a loud shout for everybody to hear.
Q: Is it true that the farewell kiss with Nikola wasn't scripted?
A: There have been small moments like Vienna in springtime that suggest there had been a tryst between the two. It was only natural for them to kiss goodbye. The writers weren't so sure but we convinced them.
Q: Would JYo be a part of the movie?
A: We hope so and we'd try to make it work.
Q: If you make the movie, who will Helen end up with, Nikola or John?
A: (I'm sorry I can't remember exactly, but AT said something to the effect that Helen would be OK stranded in a desert with Nikola... or something like that.) Helen loves John a lot but she hates him to the same extent. (In the end, AT refused to answer this question - that was expected, however.)

Thank you so much for sharing all of this.
Amanda got asked at AT7 who she thought Helen would choose - I think her answer was something like "John, with a sideorder of Tesla" I totally get why Helen both loves and hates John, he's the love of her life, but still he did some unforgivable things. The love between them is very strong, but I don't think they'd ever be able to be together and certainly not for as long as John still has the thing inside him.
The chemistry between Helen and Nikola is a whole other story though
