God dammit I know I am wrong a lot but if ever I was going to be right, I was really hoping it was going to be now.

LOL! You got a shower scene, you can't expect a steamy underwear scene as well!

Yeah...pretty sure that you were thinking of Jennifer Spence (played by Lisa Park)

That's who that woman looks like to me, anyways.

Yeah, she's like a recurring character or something. JM mentioned how her role has become a bit more prominent (kind of like a Zelenka I guess) because the producers liked what they saw.

Ming Na says she's head of Human Resources, which suggests she may play a role as a make-shift counsellor to crew members
on what planet does being the head of Human Resources make you "make-shift counsellor".

That's the one! But it's the other way around - it's Lisa Park played by Jennifer Spence

Sounds like a few of the boys here at GW did too

Lots of HR managers do workplace mediation etc - I guess it depends on what kind of HR role she has.

From watching The Office, and Michael Scott's views, HR isn't usually accepted by those in management. So the head scientists and military officers may have a problem with her running "meet and greet" seminars

As much as I enjoyed The Office, I'm not sure it's an accurate representation of HR

There may be a slight exaggeration

I am sorry, I still can't get over someone quoting 'The Office' as an accurate representation of HR in the workplace. Thats gold!!!

Thats kind of like watching a porno and thinking that maybe being a pool cleaner would be a good career move.

But in an TV guide article ,Ming-Na play a low ranking IOA accountant, she is openly in a lesbian marriage with a wife back on Earth play by Reiko Aylesworth.

Well i don't think PRC government will allow something with a Lesbian with non-chinese wife to represent them in IOA.
I mean no disrespect for Ming-Na, but I think I would have preferred if TPTB had cast her instead. I'm not sure about this Wray character... I think a truly Chinese IOA representative and all that entails would add more conflict and diversity to the show than an Asian-American lesbian accountant. We'll see, though.
