She was a character from Lost who started off snobby, whinny and really emotional (and also didn't develop that much).

But she has to at least be tolerable in that he character (likeable or not) serves a purpose. I've gotten the feeling that some people aren't even willing to tolerate her character.

Dunno, I haven't really noticed it. Hasn't been as bad as with Keller I don't think, but then Chloe isn't replacing a character so maybe she'll get off a bit more lightly...

Also why the actor does loot sexy, I think you can tell from her cloths that the character is not exactly sexy and fashionable either.

I noticed that too. I think when the original casting call I think what popped into a lot of people's minds was blonde with big hair in a tight top. That's kind of what I thought too, but I actually don't think TPTB (despite all they've done) would do that.

Eventually my mindset of thinking went more along the lines of Rose from DW until she was cast and more information was released.

I'll just say snark is good for the soul. It helps muchly when re-watching Irresistable, for instance.

Chloe's a totally different one from what we've seen on SG, hasn't fit any of the character archetypes that have been presented.

Am I the only one hoping that both Wray and Chloe turn out to be well-written, thought provoking characters and that Wray becomes something of a mentor for Chloe?

That? Would be cool. I didn't make that career connection until you pointed it out. But what a great way to make connections between characters.

How can anyone properly form an opinion about any of the characters in this show, when it hasn't even aired yet?
Characters develop and change all the time and isn't character development what SGU is supposed to be all about, personally I can't wait to see what each individual team member has to offer.

Chloe was pretty much maligned when info about her character first came out, but as more info about the series emerged, more people seemed to have abandoned the hobby of bashing the character. I guess things were looking good and the rage after Atlantis's cancellation has subsided.

Hopefully this trend continues.

The appearance and mannerisms of this actress are completely different from the sides. I have dismissed them entirely and have no preconceptions of the character at all.
