Sounds like fun but can't go. I am not able to pull the money together before the con. But everyone have a good time for me.

TV wise, there will be a TORCHWODO panel on Saturday, and on Sunday, whole bunch of TV panels (of course, the day I'm not going)

      CHUCK
When a 20-something computer geek inadvertently downloads critical government secrets into his brain, his former-college-friend-turned-CIA-agent recruits him to join the team. Think your job sucks? Making $9.95 an hour ain't so bad compared to hand-to-hand combat with evil dictators. Get the latest on NBC's Chuck right here!

      DOLLHOUSE
An exclusive sneak peek at the first act of Joss Whedon's highly-anticipated premiere episode of Dollhouse scheduled to launch on Friday, February 13th on FOX. Dollhouse stars Eliza Dushku, Tahmoh Penikett, Fran Kranz, Dichen Lachman, Enver Gjokaj, Harry Lennix, and Olivia Williams. Mini posters will be distributed to all in attendance!

      FRINGE,
the highest-rated new series of the season among Adults 18-49, makes its New York Comic Con debut when select members of the cast and creative team assemble for a Q&A with fans and an exclusive video presentation created specifically for NYCC. A critically acclaimed thriller, FRINGE centers on an unlikely trio uncovering a mystery involving a series of unbelievable events and delves beneath the surface as the threat of a larger, more disturbing pattern blurs the line between the possible and the impossible. FRINGE, from J.J. Abrams (Lost), Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci - the team behind Star Trek, Mission: Impossible III and Alias - and fellow executive producers Jeff Pinkner (Lost, Alias) and Bryan Burk (Lost, Alias), airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FOX. Panelists include John Noble (Dr. Walter Bishop) and Jasika Nicole (Astrid Farnsworth)!

      LIFE ON MARS
When a present-day car accident mysteriously sends Detective Sam Tyler back to 1970s NYC, Tyler steps out into a brave, new world. Travel back in time with ABC's Life on Mars and discover all the secrets of this unique series shot right here in New York City!

Penny-Farthing Press (PFP) returns for their third visit to New York Comic Con (Booth #1513) with the debut of their new graphic novel, Anne Steelyard and the Garden of Emptiness: An Honorary Man. This exciting new graphic novel chronicles the life of Anne Steelyard, a young British woman who is searching for her independence in the mysterious deserts of Mesopotamia while the world is on the brink of World War I. Anne Steelyard is written by bestselling author Barbara Hambly (Patriot Hearts, the Benjamin January mysteries, The Emancipator’s Wife) and the exquisite cover art is by legendary artist Glen Orbik. More information about Anne Steelyard can be found at www.annesteelyard.com.

PFP will also debut a preview of their upcoming 4-issue comic book series, Shadrach Stone, written by Stuart Moore (PARA, Firestorm, Stargate Atlantis). Nothing Stargate-related at the con except one t-shirt. Phooey. But had fun stuff anyway.
