Oh and boberth can i assume travler weponry scales up and they have some kind of shuttle craft the second is a very reasonable asumption because they have hangar bays and the first isnt a big strech in any way

well a bomber is a big word. it can be alkesh size, but also prometheus

Well i thought that many fans had demoted the prometheus to a bomber role pre-destruction. Depending on the size of the vessel it could be carried within the hanger of a 304?! How big is a 304 hanger?

I'm one of the few that gave the prometheus a light cruiser / frigate designation.


Bombers are meant to be small to mid range (death glider to alkesh). They should have a decent amount of fire power to "bomb" targets. So it could have weapons like the alkesh graphed onto it (since were using only current stargate technology). Otherwise, if your going as big if not bigger than an Alkesh, it would have a horizon missile system in it and quite a few missile launchers. Remember the challenge is to make one atmosphere capable and space capable.

Crew- 7, 1 Comander plus 2 shifts of 1 pilot, 1 comms officer and 1 bomb technician
Ship defence Weapons-
Two MK III railguns (So far)
4/8 short range Naquadah enhanced ship-ship missiles (Not decided yet just how many)
NO Asgard beams
Bomb payload-
Hyper drive-Tau'ri built Asgard-enhanced hyperdirve generators located in each drive pod.
Sub-light engines-Tau'ri built Asgard core-enhanced Ion propulsion generators located one in each drive pod.

Can a vessel alkesh size or smaller not carry an horizon or two? In Atlantis the horizon was seen in a vertical position but could it not be carried horizontally?

I've had a look and can't see any scales for the horizon, i think a tauri bomber should carry them, i was planning for my bomber to carry a two or more.

its just 30m long.. each missile is 11m, and capable of nuking a LARGE region
