There was a time when I struggled to get through an episode of TOS. I was overdosing on the Treks produced in the 80s and 90s and I think the reason was down to the acting and the better sfx in the movies and TV shows. That changed, however, when the BBC did a rerun of TOS a couple of years ago. I saw it in a completely new light and I've really come to appreciate what it was and what it began.

I'd really like to sample the remastered version on the next run through the series.

That's proobably it for me to, the SFX and the acting, i just find TOS terribly boring
