Long before you and I were born, others beat these benches with their empty cups,
To the night and its stars, to the here and now with who we are.
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

Defying Gravity
Those last few weeks I have been watching the whole series for the first time. I don't know if I would have watched it week after week on TV, but it was fun to watch it as some kind of mini-series.
I can see a bit what SGU was going for in term of style even if it also failed in the ratings.
Somehow I think Lost simultaneous created a market for highly serialized sci-fi/character drama TV series and killed it at the same time with a poorly planned out conclusion.
Nobody want to invest themselves anymore in a series which will slowly lead to nowhere.
Anyway I think Lost is the only series that did it right by having a lot of twists and turns. In Defying Gravity which was fun to watch, you almost had to wait for the episode Venus and Kiss to finally see some actions and turn of events. But for a rainy weekend, ... or 2, it was fun. Most of those serialized series (like Falling skies, Surface, Flashforward, etc) should be made into mini-series instead anyway imo.Currently watching: Dark Matter, 12 Monkeys, Doctor Who, Under the Dome, The Mentalist, The Messengers, The Last Ship, Elementary, Dominion, The Whispers, Extant, Olympus, Da Vinci's Demons, Vikings
