Well, the whole "gigantic walking tanks knocking lumps out of each other" genre might become popular again once Pacific Rim is released.

I know Alien War was there for a while.
I can now confirm that there was, very briefly, a Battletech centre in the Trocadero Centre in London. Early 1990s, prior to Alien War.

It's a good series, definitely worth reading imo if the premise sounds interesting to you.

I saw it on this web show called 'Sword and Laser', and it sounded interesting.

Finished Edgar Rice Burroughs's Mars Trilogy while my computer was out of commission. Need to read Cloud Atlas and re-read Mists of Avalon.

Have you read anything else in the Mists series? If not, I rather liked The Forest House.

Sword and Laser is a fun show. I have seen a couple of episodes on Youtube.

                          But on the book front...
I am staying in the 'Battletech' universe for a while. And so...
I've lept forward 20 years from the end of the 'Warrior' trilogy...

And I started reading 'The Blood of Kerensky Trilogy'
Starting with 'Lethal Heritage'. As with the 'Warrior' Trilogy. They are written by Michael A. Stackpole.
