The War Games (first 4 episodes)

I could have sworn I got a copy that didn't have the "missing ep" before.

Luckily all of Pertwee's episodes at least survive in b&w... But as at about 1990 there were I think about 4-5 stories that were completely b&w, and a few other parts-of that were b&w only too... As Doctor Who VHS were bringing in SO much money for the BBC, they spent the time and effort hunting down colour copies of these - often from the USA - and finding technological ways to produce acceptable quality colour versions.

The Caves of Androzani... That was a really good story, and now I have to get used to another doctor!

And what a Doctor, too... :}

Weird, but I liked it. Though I'm glad I had my trusty About Time 6 book to explain to me what the hell was going on.

Consider yourself lucky... the rest of us just had to scratch our heads... Probably Classic Who's most confusing story!

I'd like to hear what Jebus says too. Personally, I didn't like it at all. It was about as unDoctor as you can get! I just finished Vengeance on Varos, and I think I can come to like this Doctor a bit more, but he's definately on shakey ground to start.
