James Master's character looks like being a temporal agent. Also he may be a recurring character.

I'm glad about both of these, particularly the first because although I'm not one of those who expected all the answers in the first episode, or even the first season, I was extremely annoyed at the way we learnt nothing about his past that was pertinent to what we already knew. The fact that he was a 'temporal agent', and wanted to know why his memory was wiped, was totally ignores in season one. It was as though the Captain Jack of Dr Who and the Captain Jack of Torchwood were two totally different characters.
