I'd have to say that of them all, the Vorta were my favorite. They were basically murderous bureaucrats, but I loved how they could be entirely friendly one minute and then send the Jem'Hadar after you the next.

Added bonus: They make up for physical weakness by having keen hearing and an immunity to most poisons. They may also be telepathic/telekinetic, but that was only shown once.

I'd say Q. So ridiculously powerful. And so ridiculous.

I'm a sucker for non-humanoid aliens. The Kelvans and the Caretaker's race/the Nacene, Species 8472... The Breen and the Tholians are the same hot/cold opposites that the Vulcans and Andorians are, so I love em.

As for my LEAST favourite alien... Humans. I hate humans. Except the suddenly psychokinetic ones.

I remember an episode of Voyager where there was an alien in Janeway's ready room and he had a "puffy" nose. When he got mad, he puffed up his nose. I wish I could describe it better, but that was a great character.

I love Q, but as far as having good storylines and being interesting characters, I'd have to go with the Cardassians.

The devious Romulans. They featured in some of my all-time favourite Trek episodes - "Balance of Terror" and "The Defector," which spring to mind.

I don't recall the episode name, but I believe that was the episode with the Debor Imperium (the telepath haters with the refractive shielding). The one where Janeway and that inspector guy hit it off, but they both end up messing with each other's heads anyway.

Anyway, on topic, my favourite aliens are the Romulans.

The Devore were cool. The concept of them having to cross a less than friendly Federation-esque expanse was good, but it didn't last long enough.
