Unless they surprise us with a second clone. Doubtful I know, but I'd rather see a second clone than accept the fact I missed out this coming, because now it seems so obvious that he'd be a perfect Connor Kent.

Well, I just started watching less than a year ago, but as I watch episodes, I read stuff about them on other forums, and it seems like that was the theory going into every season finale/major death. It wouldn't ruin the show for me, but I'd probably be a bit sad, since she is one of my favorite characters in the show.

I really don't want Chloe to die. If her death is what it takes to propel Clark forward in his final steps towards becoming Superman, it could work. I still don't want that though.

But since Allison Mack only signed on for five episodes this season and that was the last of ‘em, what can you do? Well, for one, you can have Mack back. Though neither The CW nor Warner Bros. TV is confirming anything about the two-hour series finale beyond its May 13 airdate and Michael Rosenbaum’s encore as Lex, a well-placed source tells me that Mack – also an original cast member – sneaked back to the set and will be a part of the grand send-off. And that, friends, is super.
