Ah, the kiss again

I just rewatched Revelations the other night. I love when the gang is all together. One of my favorite scenes is when Nikola is doing his challenge and says "Your father really didn't like me." To which Helen replies "You're an acquired taste." LOL!

My favorite lines from that episode:

"Lest their wealth of knowledge fall into the wrong hands.... Miss me?"

"I have no reason to do her any harm. But you... I'm finding more reasons by the minute."
"Honestly I am surrounded by adolescents!"

My fav moment in that episode is when Nikola doesn't deny he is afraid... Apparently he was too afraid to walk in the test until the situation was dire enough to motivate him. Or maybe it was Helen's presence ;P

I just wonder what he was so afraid of he didn't take the test when he stayed in the city for years. Probably it wasn't that he though he'd fail it, a test like that is made to be passed.

Why do you think Gregory had it set up that their tests were in the same area? Helen had to actually be there.

A good point, this one. I never thought it twice... Hehe, maybe that was Gregory's way to make sure Helen is there to keep an eye on him all the time

You know how it is when you are doing something unrelated and then BAM you suddenly have a pointless (more or less) Teslen scene in your head? Happened me today.

Nikola, after opening a door: "Helen, darling?"

Helen: "There is no need to call me that when no one is watching."

Nikola, grinning: "But my darling, I want to!"

Helen, slightly irritated: "Yes, I know you love being the sole source of my blood-pressure issues. What was it?"

Nikola, in more serious tone: "I kind of have a good news/bad news situation in here..."

Helen: "Please continue."

Nikola: "The good news: Recycling is awesome. I just collected a nice check by returning empty bottles, will cover like half of the rent of this... junkyard"

Helen: "Well, if you are pretending what we are pretending, you are much more likely to live with rats than in Ritz. Please continue to the bad news."

Nikola: "I, uh, may have purchased them first, when they were still full..."

Helen, her voice like ice: "I'm hardly surprised. In fact, I gave some thought on this beforehand. I found a mac job just for you. They need someone to fry french fries. You can start tomorrow."

Nikola, in shock: "But..."

Helen: "Nonsense. Just consider yourself lucky they didn't put you on cashier. Think of all the disgusting germ-ridden money you'd have to handle."

Nikola: *shudders in disgust*

I got bored at Google Drive was yelling at me that it had amazing features. So I wrote a quick, tiny piece of Teslen fic. I haven't edited, spruced up or really done much with this. It was because I had an idea and too many things rushing around in my head. I plan to write a bigger, more detailed and so-many-chapters-long version of this. I regret nothing... Well, actually, I do. But that's not the point.

My computer died today. Third computer that went this week when I was using it Yesterday my freezer stopped working properly. At work 2 machines are having problems, of course the ones I need Yep, I'm in mood for angst, torture, H/C, all the good stuff.
