put this on the Trooper thread, but i needed to say it here on the thread i founded too

my friends, the time has come for me to say a few things:

Firstly, my immersion piece was a huge success with workshop and when i had my one on one conference with my professor he said it was the strongest/best one of the class. So thank you for making this possible haha xD

That being said, in writing the piece, and in workshop and conference, i realized a few things. Returning to the in depth fandom world here on GateWorld i found things were different. And i mean with me as much as i mean with this place, and with fandom. I've learned that this place, is no longer meant for me, and i am no longer meant for it. I have moved on in life, and this place has moved on in a way that doesnt mesh with my life. I have learned that my place is not here among the threads of fandom, posting for hours and days but with my studies, my future, and the love of my life whom I am going to have a family with someday. These great things do not leave room for this place, and i feel that this place no longer really has room me.

I have loved my time here, both now, and in the past before Uni. But all things end, and so my life here is at an end. I thank you all for the friendship you have shown me here, perhaps some of you will stay in contact with me outside this realm? Perhaps not. Either way you were all wonderful and i have been lucky to know you. I wish you all the best of luck, in everything.

Keaira, we were so lucky and happy to have you here. And I understand. I just hope you will jump in sometimes ( once in a year at least ) and say hi to us. I would like to wish you a bunch of luck, love and success in your personal life and also in your school and work life.
