when my bus pulled out of Lincoln Tunnel and into NYC yesterday it was immediately stopped at a stop light....what follows is a true story. no part of it has been fabricated or enhanced.

I was sitting in the third row, sixth seat and just then on my IPod "thunderstruck" by AC/DC shuffled on. then a giant flock of pigeons flew from nowhere at the bus, swarmed it, and then disappeared.

XD i love my life. i literally squeed outloud at the joy of my moment

Oh, and I got a new plotpigeon today. (I am now using the term "plotpigeon" for Niko fics and "plotdragon" for fics about *that movie *). lol
But anyway, said plotpigeon is, um...you guessed it. Angsty. It's going to be about Will's and Niko's separate childhood experiences and how similar they were/are b/c of the whole "I feel guilty for a family member's death" thing. More of a character study than a plot-driven fic, but I was listening to the song "Mad World" by Gary Jules and that song fits both of them SO well...and it gave me the idea for the fic.

...yeah.

oh, and random.

Caspian no longer has a weird Mediterranean accent for the next Narnia movie. Apparently he lost it in only 3 years of ruling since he's been around Narnians so much. I am not sure how plausible that is.

I have two weird pigeon stories to share with everyone...when I was in Las Vegas two summers ago...my boyfriend and I were eating at a Sonic next to the Palms Casino and our rental car was surrounded by hungry pigeons..they would peck at the car door when they wanted us to drop them more food. It was really funny..and the other was when I was in high school and I would get off the bus to walk down the rest of my street to my house. Everyday there would be this white dove waiting for me in the grass where my bus would stop and it would fly to the telephone pole next to my house and would wait for me to get in the door. The bus driver noticed after awhile and asked if it was my pet..and I said that it was not. I told my mom and she said that it probably was my aunt protecting me..and that she used to collect dove figurines..not too sure about the guardian angel idea..since I don't really believe in any of that LOL
