Nikki that animated banners soo effing cool! haha i think its a rather nice tribute to ellymelly's story.

and since it seems to be a general consenus that i should post the link to my (not-so-great-in-my-opinion) story, and the first part is about as done as it'll ever be, i promise as soon as i get home i will get on posting the link. however in the meantime i will give you all the little poem i wrote since i have that with me now. it doesnt have a title...yet

It started as an experiment

And became so much more.

The key was slipped beneath this skin,

Waltzing with his blood, before unlocking

The dormant darkness in his DNA.

Electricity quivers clandestinely within limbs

Expendable with any evanescent touch. Night

Now lurks in his veins, getting released into

Luminous eyes draining what little color he has

So he’s paler than a mid-winter moon above

Frozen expansive tundra’s. And while this

Is accompanied by lengthened rapier-like nails

And that devious smile being filled with fangs

That mind is still there sharper than any weapon,

He is still there, still creating, still solving, still loving.

Also, thanks a ton to those of you who have commented on my animated banner! I've gotten to the point where I'm concerned that I won't be able to top that, but I guess that gives me incentive to try to make something even cooler. I'm working on another (sillier) animated banner at the moment, and I'm really hoping it comes out well. *fingers crossed* I should have that up by this evening.

Wide, I said, as in too many pixels from side to side, completely independent of how many k anything is.
I know there's some correlation, but you could have a long thin image or something, too wide not too big in k, but too wide, and put it in spoiler tags, right?
