Sanctuary Discussion (Spoilers for the most recent episode)

I'm afraid I'll have to disagree with everyone else. IF we managed to get Watson and Griffin into the future, that would screw with the time continuum. Watson and Griffin would not exist in the time between the exact moment you removed them from the Victorian Era, and the exact moment that they are back in our time. Which causes all sorts of problems.

i know, it really screws everything up! (kind of like it, kind of don't... )

Can I just say that as a Canadian fan I am not happy with Space's decision regarding holding the last three episodes to Dec 30th. For fans like me who will only watch the show by the appropriate means, it ticks us off. For others who will find a way to watch the show through the internet it hurts their ratings. How is this a good idea?

I'm also not quite happy about it. Last Fri I got home, and was about to watch it "another way" but my lappy wasn't working, it messed me up, and I missed the whole episode, and watched it late. All because it wasn't shown in Canada. What they should have done was air the The Depths and SFN pt.1 normally, and let the marathon lead up to the finale.

EH-T, Rocky - I totally hear you both! And, I don't know if I'm speaking only for myself here, but I can't spare 3 hours of TV on the 30th. As much as I *love* Sanctuary, I just can't. We have family coming over the next day and I'll be in my kitchen all day! I'll DVR the episodes, but it's just not practical have *three* new episodes on the same day. :/

We have family coming over the next day and I'll be in my kitchen all day! I'll DVR the episodes, but it's just not practical have *three* new episodes on the same day. :/

This is another problem. You have to have 3 hours in one night instead of 3 hours spread over three weeks. That is going to be a problem for many.

This is another problem. You have to have 3 hours in one night instead of 3 hours spread over three weeks. That is going to be a problem for many.

The thing is, in Canada I don't think it matters to the ratings it gets on Syfy. As long as the ratings are good on Syfy, that's good. Plus, I booked all of Fri the 30th off, so I'll be home.

Of course it has nothing to do with the ratings on Syfy. However, Space is concerned about their own ratings. Plus, there are the fans to consider.

well, i'm not a ratings expert in any way, so i could say it's b/c the series isn't putting this and that in, or putting this and that in, but it's only going by my 'tastes', without any substance or fact behind it.

i know what i like and don't like on the show, but i doubt that opinion is what's making the ratings go lower. (it might just be the average lowering of ratings over time for any show)

I'm no where near a rating specialist, but looking at those numbers all together, I don't find them *that* bad. I'm an eternal optimist!
