What will happen when the real Olivia washes her hair???
they've convinced her that she's a natural red head, so when she washes her hair the fake colour will start to come out? when her hair grows, she's gonna get some nasty regrowth!
how will they explain that to her?

Altivia dyes her hair. If she was a natural redhead, why would she have red hair dye in her bathroom (that our Liv used in the season 2 finale)? The red wig was/is (a) a production choice to help distinguish between the two (the bearing and wardrobe of Walternate marks him, likewise with Astrid; Charlie's scar marks him; Broyles... mostly wardrobe, wedding ring) and (b) a commentary on the differences between them, particularly the effects the cortexiphan had on Liv and aren't present in Altivia.
