[Easter Lily]

This episode resonated with me emotionally... I was beginning to despair over some of my favourite characters and this episode did to a large extent redeem them in my eyes.
It was interesting to see story behind Starbuck's crushed finger bones... her history with Mum and why she's the person that she is.

This is the Kara and Lee I remember from Season 1.

And of course I don't believe for one minute that Kara's gone from the picture.

I watched the bit where she is pursuing the raider at 1/12th speed before she is hit some blue tracer shoots across her nose going up and right then a glowy ball of light smashes into her canopy from straight ahead and for a second just before it hits her cocpit is illuminated it only leaves a small crack though about the size of a fist but basicly the glowy thing isnt coming from the same place as the tracer fire

the tracer is the same colour as gaurdian tracer no idea why

I just don't agree with this whole 'it's happened before and it will happen again' scenario. Life is just too random for anything to be pre destined, and as much as i try, it is a part of the BSG storyline that is spoiling the series for me.

It's the story, 'agreeing with it' has nothing to do with it.

Interesting sidenote about the episode I discovered when rewatching it a few weeks ago: in one of the scenes with Kara's mother....she blows a smoke ring. Unimportant on its own I know, but it's a neat little thing to stick into an episode with such focus on the Eye and the mandala.

I listened to Ron Moore's podcast and heard a hilarious story I had to share. Near the end of this episode there's a scene where Adama's really upset and smashes his model ship to pieces. Thing was, that ship didn't belong to them. It was hired and worth six figures and Eddie smashed it to pieces in the passion of the moment while the set designers fainted off-camera! lol! Fortunately it was insured.

It's such a sad scene but I'm never going to be able to watch it again without thinking of those poor set designers!
