    Man, are our heroes incompetent infiltrators. And why would a Krill ship be set up so its lights could flashfry the crew instantly?

    That said there was a lot of good character work here, showing the faceless baddies as actual people, pleasant people as well aside from the religion.

    Bit horrifying though when you think about it: if a small destroyer had that number of kids on it, how many did the battlecruiser they blew up at the start have on it?

      It's possible that children would be removed based on the specifics of a ship's mission? Kinda like when the Enterprise offloads family when the crew knows it is going to go on a very risky mission beforehand.

        They do that? I don't recall that on TNG.
