The "Gothic" part is actually because of the shape of the window in the building. It's called "Carpenter Gothic" and is reminiscent of the European Gothic architecture style. But in wood instead of stone.

exactly but many take them to depict husband and wife....it's like the Mona Lisa it's been analyzed to death. It's meant to be satirical and stir discussion and controversy. That is what good art does. It's personal for the viewer and what you alone get out of it.

But the Carpenter Gothic! You can't just make a window with an arch and call it Gothic! Have you seen what real Gothic Architecture looks like?
