In retrospect it's funny...but at the time it just hurt a lot and made me really mad!

I will never ever again reach behind the (very hot) pot I had JUST used to make popcorn to pick up a piece of popcorn that fell on the stove....I have a scar....and all I did was BUMP the pop....

You are not alone. My husband, although he wasn't drunk, was cutting logs with a chainsaw. Well, he let his guard down to concentrate on something other than the chainsaw. Well, let's just say I got a call from the ER.

My stupid thing: I will never let my husband use a chainsaw again. And he's a smart man for crying out loud.

I really should know better than to let my hubby make dinner....he ends up making a huge mess that I end up cleaning up..but time and again, I let him cook when he asks....at least the stuff he makes is good....

I wish mine would cook (especially since he makes good stir fry and pizza), but at least he does the dishes. They may sit a while, but he does them. I am lucky.

I usually give him the option of doing the dishes or bathing the boys....I get to spend a lot of time reading while the boys play in the tub!

Reading reminds me of one thunderstorm...

I was trying to read a book but it was night and a lightning struck to a power plant and it resulted into a blackout. Well then I light a few candels and continued reading. All went well until I realized that my book was on fire!

Thank god nothing else caught on fire (except my hand ). I had one book less and few serious burns...

Stupid thing: reading book in candlelight, haven't done that again. Nowdays I just sit in the dark, alone with my toughts during blackouts...
