One of my black eggs hatched INCREDIBLY early (and of course was sick). Turns out it was the curled alt. Also, I bred some of my golds earlier, 2 refused, but 2 gave me eggs.

Different people have different success with pairings. So far, my three alt blacks have been from black/skywing, black/pebble, and black/mint. My one vine alt has been from vine/pebble. Good luck!

It's really quite random.... sometime I took an egg from abandon-page and it's an ALT, that said... one time I abandon an egg and turn out it's an ALT so when I don't hunt for a new breed of dragon, I usually just breed blacks and greens in the hope of getting ALTs.

I have best experiences in breeding alts with magi, water and especially vine - I have my alt vines and alt black from them. As you can see, it really depends
