      When I go on, I skim posts and miss out the OT stuff. I admit to posting some myself, but most is in response to OT posts.
      When I try to make comments or points on Ship, my posts tend to get ignored.
      lol...thats why I did it...you're not supposed to notice...

      I always read posts, I just am often pages behind and don't respond to everything. I'll respond if I totally disagree or strongly agree....otherwise I just keep trying to catch up. esh, I spent an hour and a half doing that today....eep...need to write my paper...

        And Allergies are the PITS!!! I never had any until I moved to Arizona....and then when they flare up I of course explain to the Doctor I am dying.....and he says..."Oh it is just allergies"........Me - "Ob Ob corb thb arb" Kilb meb nob pleb" ( that translates to "Oh of course they are, kill me now please")
        I got minor allergies (ie: if I get sick, I get allergy symptoms for like weeks) when I moved to Gainesville...I'm not the only one apparently...

          Get this - I'm allergic to Non-bio washing powder. It caused great discomfort...

            OW...I am getting very icky visions of all the discomfirt this could cause

            The kitties have been freed YAY...ok well not really *freed* but they now have free run of the living room and kitchen

            My house is such a zoo

            1 dog
            4 of my cats
            3 kittens

            OY OY and double OY

            all of my animals are just standing around looking at the kittens like *Are they NUTS!!* because they are just running all over the place chasing each other and jumping on EVERYTHING!! it is so funny to watch

              Well, if it's zoo you want! I have four dogs and an unknown number of mice! Eeeeekkkkkk! I have been trying to trap the little varmints but they don't seem to like anything I use to bait the blasted traps with!

              I used to have two cats but that was a long time ago! And just go ahead and throw the rotten fruit and vegetables because I have never been allergic to anything a day in my life! Yes, I am tempting fate by saying it!

              When I was a kid, I could roll in poison ivy and oak and walk away without a problem! My kid bro on the other hand could breathe too close to it and get a major rash! When he made me mad, I used to get him to chase me and then I would run through the poison ivy. He wasn't smart enough to figure out my devious plan! (Still isn't, IMHO!) Of course, Momma figured it out. After a while, everytime he got poison ivy, I got spanked!!

                I've got something called 'Multiple Chemical Reaction Syndrome'. It's the mildest form, so it isn't too bad.
                Here's what I'm allergic to
                Most Shampoo (Except lovely Avon stuff)
                Most make up
                Aerosols
                Lime
                Cleansing lotion
                Walnuts
                The majority of E - numbers (nooooooo)
                Mustard
                Brown Sauce
                Salad cream
                Pollen (aren't we all!)
                Cat fur (I still love cats though!)
                Carpet cleaner
                All curries

                If I put any of the cleaning/beauty products in the above list near myself, I instantly have a cold for a few weeks. I sometimes even get the flu!
                If I eat lime - based products - I go a bit loopy
                If I eat Walnuts - I get one helluva sore stomach
                I get rashes and a sore throat if I eat the foos on the list.

                  now that is an amazing list of allergies. i thought i was being impressive being allergic to red wine, cheese, chocolate, all animals and house dust, as well as intolerant to gluten and citrus, but you beat me by miles.

                      And for anyone who misses their kitties.....I am overloaded their really are fun....but OY they are like having Two-year olds again.....

                        Ok, I don't have any known allergies, but I do have a rotten cold, head like lead, sinus blocked, coughfing undescribeble stuff, fever . Can I feel sorry for myself here? I really should be in bed, but my 2 year old is feeling fine

                              stupid allergies and colds *sniffles* I love my allergy medications, but sometimes they do make me a bit loopy I know, I know, how can anyone tell the difference?

                              OK, so I am currently planning to make a trip to NYC in mid-October for a wedding, but I'll be there a few extra days. Is anyone in the area and want to get together?? I dunno, for coffee or a play or something?
                              Let me know, here, PM, email or IM me (it's not like I'm hard to get hold of ).

                                I just take anti histamenes for some things ie. hayfever, but I just steer clear of everything else.

                                Wish I was going to NYC, but I've never even been to the USA!!!

                                I've only ever been to England, France and Spain.
