Last week, I finally got a refill script for my medication, which is technically a controlled substance . My medication is Adderall XR and I take it to counteract my ADD and stuff. When I went to get it filled, the pharmacist informed me that I'll have to have my doctor/psychologist send an exception to the insurance company because my prescription called for two pills a day whilst my insurance would only cover one-a-day for some silly reason. So, on Wednesday, I finally was able to get in contact with my psychologist (who is an M.D.!), and he sent out an exception to my insurance company... he said it would take a day or two. So today, after work, I am going to get it filled finally. Being without my medication was weird... going of my meds cold turkey had some odd side effects... a few which were beyond my control.
