GW Babe's Fave Song Tourney ~ Super Sonic Sixties 64/65
finally ~ A WHOLE YEAR WITHOUT CHOCCIE!!!! ... that is just wrong ... is it really healthy???
Yes a whole year. I thought he was crazy and man the company we were getting the chocolate from would send samples and you better bet we were eating all of them infront of him...mmmmmm. He now eats chocolate
I make polymer clay jewelry and ornaments...I'm in the process of setting up an etsy shop to sell them. Wish me luck!
Um, quite a while back (early 90's, if I remember correctly), I went three years without chocolate. I just can't be moderate with the stuff and I'd gained a lot of weight, so I thought if I stayed away from it, I could stop gaining weight. Yeah, right. Anyway, it lasted until an online friend who didn't know I was abstaining sent me a two pound box of Godiva chocolates. Godiva! What's a person supposed to do?
3 YEARS! you are crazy Hope your etsy shop does well. I had remembered you talking about etsy a while back (my mom's board has a whole bunch of people that have an etsy shop...all baby stuff). Hope you do well with it.
We made it!
OK, so it took us thirteen hours to get there (it's usually a nine hour trip), and twelve and a half hours to get back, but at least I got the perks of having lunch in Twin Peaks (was a little disappointed that there were no backwards-talking little people or cryptic giants, but I guess I would have had to eat at the actual diner rather than just the Arby's by the interstate to get that), driving right past Roslyn from Northern Exposure (would have driven through, but the trip was long enough already), and listening to trucker talk on our CB while waiting three hours at the top of Lookout Pass while the wreckers pulled the three jack-knifed semis off the road in front of us. As a side note, I must say that I am quite impressed with today's truckers. When I was a child and my parents would turn on the CB, every other word out of the truckers' mouths would have made George Carlin blush. But now they seem to be very well behaved and civil. The worst they had to say about the guy who started the problem because he hadn't put his chains on was that "There ain't never been and there ain't never gonna be a cure for stupid." and "This is why they don't let you marry your sister." I do suspect that guy is going to get a royal hazing down at the next truck stop, though.

I didn't know what the Ironman thingy was so I figured, when in doubt, guess MF
I was going to type it all in but Wikipedia had a really good summary right at the top so cut and paste always triumphs
An Ironman Triathlon is one of a series of long-distance triathlon races organised by the World Triathlon Corporation consisting of a 2.4 mile (3.9 km) swim, 112 mile (180 km) bike and 26.2 mile (42.2 km) marathon run.
The Ironman Triathlon, or The Ironman Triathlon World Championships, is both the original triathlon and the annual world championships of the event, held annually since 1978 in Hawaii
For the record I made this resolution back in my early 30's (over 15 yrs ago). I watch it every year on tv for the past 20 yrs or so and I thought if I gave myself a long term goal I would get in shape better. Sadly I never even came close. I did get up to biking 35 miles though.
