GW Babe's Fave Song Tourney ~ Super Sonic Sixties 64/65
THE SKY IS FALLING THE SKY IS FALLING! Ok so its really not but it should be later We are supposed to get some SNOW and not just a little a LOT. Like 10-18 inches A LOT We haven't had a good snow storm in YEARS and its been even longer since we have had one before the new year. Hubby has to run out this morning and buy Rosa some cheap snow boots becuase her school shoes just wont cut it. Now lets hope the weatherman actually gets it right this time since last snow they called for we got nothing.
How much have you gotten?
Right now we're still waiting for the storm to hit, but they say we're not getting as much as those south of us since it's following the coast and heading east before it dumps TOO much here. Only expecting about 4 to 6 inches tonight and just an inch this afternoon. But if it skipped us altogether, I wouldn't mind

Rad I would say 12-14 inches maybe a bit more...hubby says I always lowball things. I know my mom said she thinks she is on the 18+ inch mark with snow drifts going over the door handle in the kitchen(she's 10 minutes away but on a mountain).
It also just stopped snowing. Roads are a mess and I wont be surprised if we lose power sometime over the next few days (all our line are above ground). Nothing is supposed to melt tomorrow to much and if it does it wont be enough to do anything but refreeze later...I hate ice. So even though I wanted to go to church tomorrow but that's out of the question now.
Of course the kiddies (mainly my sister) are crying becuase there is no chance of a snow day since they are out for Christmas break. Rosa of course hates the snow (really she hates her mittons and wont keep them on and thus hates the snow) but we are all bundled in till the road is clear (I don't drive in the snow with Rosa in the car...I am alright doing it by myself just not with her with me)
Ainty I heard y'all got 2-3 inches of rain...eek! Hopefully the rain left your basement alone this time!
