So, Friday I had some guy at Starbucks use me for some English practice, he was very adorable. I was just sitting there, reading and he just started talking to me. He seemed very surprise I had a Korean friend. Today, while Jae and I were waiting for the subway, this old lady walks by and a couple of minutes later walks back, taps me on the shoulder and says something in Korean and then in English: "beautiful". Jae translated, letting me know that the old lady though I was beautiful. Made my day, since I was dead tired and my hair was a mess since I didn't have a chance to wash it this morning. Also felt strangely embarrased.
