As a longtime, loyal fan of Stargate SG-1, I join my fellow fans in asking that you reconsider your decision to cancel the show. To be fair, the show really did change with Season 9 and the current cast has had less than two years to hit their stride. The original cast has admitted on numerous occassions that they didn't gel, as it were, until their third season together.

We fans support the cast and the crew behind them. It is a shame that the executives of the Sci Fi Channel do not.

Addy, I'm rewatching 200 and found the perfect addition to your letter. A quote from Cameron Mitchell,

"Never underestimate your audience. They’re generally sensitive intelligent people who respond positively to quality entertainment."

That is something that the Execs at Sci-Fi seem to have forgotten.
