Jack and Methos had to be finished first. That is at the beta, who is fighting the flu. Poor thing.
For DMuse, well, he has new competition. We have a one-year old black Labrador retriever named Marley. I will endeavor to post pic later in the week. He was at the pound when Hubs went to pay renewal on the spaniel's dog license.
Also, for those following...the spaniel is still fighting off whatever the cyst thing is on his neck and has now dropped 4 pounds in 6 weeks. He's 16.5 years old and slowing down a lot in recent months. I appreciate any thoughts and prayers in our direction. I dread what we may need to do in the near future with him as he may have some form of cancer. Meanwhile, one day at a time, and I thank you all for the fun and therapy I get here.
Congrats on the new addition. I know that means a lot of work for you. Sorry to hear about your spaniel. Our pets are definately members of our families. Our 9 year old golder retriever was just diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemo. Here is a picture of our pretty boy Buddy . . .

That Ray guy is really twisted.
ooh doc probleme solved I've showed him .. and send him back to addy
We watched some of the Tournament of Roses Parade. The Star Wars floats were awesome. It's on later, so I'm going to watch the whole thing. Didnt do much yesterday. I kinda prefer Lunar New Year, but thats not until Ferbruary. And the parade/ street fair/ spring festival isnt until March 3rd and 4th. I'll usually try to go to Chinatown for that. It's really fun. (Year of the Pig starts on Feb. 18th. And the Lunar Year is 4705).

Heh, Spring festival is always a lot of fun. The only problem is the firecrackers! All the time, for one week!!! I can't sleep in the Spring festival XD
Oh, I missed the lounge so much! But the internet was horrible... A big earthquake in Taiwan cut the cables that conected us to them, what disrupted the telefone and internet service. I couldn't connect to any sites hosted outside China, at least I had email...
@ Admiral and ShippyChick: Yeah, it's so hard... I lost 2 cats recently... I can't even talk about them without feeling bad. You two have all my prayers going to your dogs... And Shippy, Buddy is gorgeous!
HAPPY NEY YEAR, FOLKS! That all your dreams come true this new year

Sorry about your ol' doggy, Admiral.
The last dog I had before I was married was my pitbull Spur,
and he was only eight years old and had to be put down because of
cancer. It was very hard for me.
Looking foward to seeing your new puppy.
Sneaky Admiral coming here on a Sunday.
I snuck online while he was watching TV, bouncing between The Omen, II and James Bond, not sure which one.
Here is Marley...
You can only get a picture when he's passed out. Otherwise, he's always moving...and far too quickly for the camera. I'll keep trying though...I haven't checked the pics from the dog park yesterday, not sure how they turned out.
Holy accident prone family cajn! Stay safe on New Years eve, wouldn't want to lose anyone
Hang in there Addy. Losing a pet is difficult but having mercy on their suffering is a good thing. Had to put my spaniel to sleep when she was 17. It's never easy. (((hugs and prayers)))
