You can pay it forward to anyone you want! lol, Just don't pay back the person who gave it to you, you can pay them back as well and even ask them to pay that forward, but make sure you pay forward the original.
Events
person 1 --> person 2
person 2 --> person 1 + person 3
person 1 --> person 2 + person 4, person 3 --> person 1 + person 5
