    Band of Brothers

    Part 5: Crossroads
    Part 6: Bastogne

Bastogne is difficult for me to watch, emotionally speaking. It's really too bad about Renée.

My plans to watch the rest of the series over the weekend got tanked when I was asked to work longer hours. Thank God I have Tuesday and Wednesday off!

Mmmm....perhaps I should make BoB my next re-watch. I recently replaced my DVD set with BD, and it's only 10 episodes so it'll be a quick re-watch

        The Wire:

        2.09 "Stray Rounds"
        2.10 "Storm Warnings"
        2.11 "Bad Dreams"
        2.12 "Port in a Storm"

Really good season the way it dug deeper into the various connections and dealings. I still like S1 better for the great set up and the characters. I didn't care as much for those dock workers or their story like I did for characters like D'Angelo, Wallace, and Bubs in the first season.

        On to S3!
        IMO always implied.

                    Band of Brothers

                    Part 8: The Last Patrol
                    Part 9: Why We Fight
                    Part 10: Points

After all this time, Band of Brothers is still wonderful to watch and incredibly moving, much like The Pacific. I think both have achieved the status of classics in my DVD library.
