Excellent post, for Aussie fans K-mart re now stocking best lock, but I have not yet seen the stargate line. I have sent an email to customer support.
Feedback from Kmart Aust is they do not stock the stargate or terminator best lock lines. If you want to have this line made available to Australian and NewZealand fans, send requests to the customer service department via the "Kmart.com.au" web site, and ask them to sell them. I have been importing the bigger sets from the US and they have been selling for $70 (the cost of the set plus he postage) so there is obviously a market for these sets here, and if we could get them for the same price as the rest of the world that would be nice.
Stubba2, let me ask you something, I have done a few gi joe scale (4 inch) stargate customs and I was wondering if you knew of any similarly scaled stargate items that may be available. For example a dhd in similar scale or a stargate. I know the large stargate figures came with parts like a dhd but it is too big (possibly even for the larger stargate figures). Any help appreciated

Hi Turner, well one could argue that the scale of the stargate that came with the 7 inch fgures is actually a better fit to a four inch figure (scale would have the gate at around 14-16 inches), if you consider the gate is between 22 and 25 feet in diameter which is roughly 4 time the size of christopher judge. However, if you want is smaller there are several gate options like coaster and replicas all still availablr on ebay. otherwise is you are able there are numerous web sites like turbosquid and scifi meshes that have 3d computer models that you can print yourself in any scale, or you can even pay and have them printed for you for a modest fee. These sites offer things like ships, gates, dhd, staff weapons, MALPs, and even scenery props like consoles and thors hammer to name a few. Just go to these sites register (free) and search "stargate". addiionally, there are resin stargate kit, show in this thread that are betweeen the 7 inch figure and coaster size.
hope this helps
Thanks for the information, I checked those two sites out and reviewed this thread. I wonder is anybody has printed out any models for 1:18 scale (like the dhd or stargate or zat). I have found a 1:18 scale staff weapon on shapeways, but best I remember it was like 30 something dollars. Perhaps as 3d printing continues it may be more cost effective to get some of these done.

I have a scale model of a staff weapon, and I can print them, but I don't know how it would be at that scale as it was designed for 12 and 7 inch figures. There are 3 1/2 inch figures by pheonix that may give you what you are after. http://www.toywiz.com/jaffawarrior.html
