Ask Joe Mallozzi - Spoilers for SG-1 (S8, 9, 10) and SGA (S1, 2, 3)
Dear Joe,
You have made a wonderful show.
Just a quick question. Will the nox be revisited in s9 or s10?
I think all stagate fans would like the nox revisited.
Many thanks
ALL Stargate fans? Gosh, thanks for speaking for ALL of us. Guess I'll speak for ALL of us too by asking if we'll see more of Heimdall? I'm sure ALL fans would love to see lil' Heimy again.
Last year, we were noticing that, for some reason, the episodes were coming in short even though the scripts were as long (or, in many instances, longer) as scripts from previous seasons. The reason? You guessed it. But as fast a talker as DJ is, he's got nothing on McKay who reigns supreme as "the fastest talker in scifi".
About MS/DJ's verbal speed:
I've had the privilege of owning one of MS's working scripts for a short while (lated donated to a charity auction). It was revealing to see his working notes...it was an ep where DJ had a lot of action, though relatively little dialogue.
I can just see the working notes now for S9 now..."SLOW DOWN" on every page...*grin*
*waves at Joe*

Hey, I heard you guys might hire another writer for Atlantis… how about getting some vets from Farscape, Firefly, Buffy, Angel, or Deep Space Nine? (Or, you know, how about me?)
I know you probably have no say in the matter but I was just wondering.
If you're looking for another new writer, I would love to get the incredible opportunity to pitch some story ideas I've got for both SG-1 and Atlantis. I should mention that I am just getting into the business. I have some experiance with scriptwriting (even if my scripts are all currently unproduced or online), and I know pretty much how television and film productions work. I'm moving to California later this year to finally be where I'm supposed be. But Vancouver sounds great too.
The project below in my signature is just for fun and out of love for Stargate. However, I am hoping to soon have the means of making some of my other little projects come to live. As you can imagine, it's all a matter of financing. Well, I'm working on it, and I've learned to be patient with these things.
I know this is very, very, very unlikely because I know very well how new writers usually do come on a show, but I just saw the previous posts, and figured why not mention it? I've learned you have to be willing to try everything if you want to make it. Where are the good old days when shows used to accept unsolicited scripts?
Anyway, this thread is for questions, I know, and I actually WAS posting because another question came to me. Actually I have many questions, but I think this one could be interesting. Sorry, for getting a bit off topic first.
It seems reasonable to me that the Ancients also must have had larger ships than the puddle jumpers; after all they did take an entire city to another galaxy (they really did things big). So I was wondering if there are currently any plans of seeing any other Ancient ships in Season Two. I think that would be very interesting.
Again, thank you very much for answering these questions.

And I'm sure ALL fans want to see Sam and Pete live happily ever after.
it's a wonder so many of you can claim Jack as your favorite character if you can't even recognize sarcasm when you read it. Could we possibly stick to the subject of the thread, which is pestering Joe with questions about THE SHOW and NOT about turning this into yet another ship/antiship bickerfest?
Let's see if I can provide a non-silly example of a question that has NOTHING to do with ship or a fractionalized fandom or intentionally antagonizing anyone...
Joe, there are rumors of a new Big Bad coming in season nine. Care to share anything about that?
Hello!
Any plans for releasing a new soundtrack CD for both SG-1 and Atlantis ?
We only have music for season 1 of SG-1 and nothing yet for Atlantis.
It could be great to have more music from these shows!
Hi JM my question is now that we know a little bit about the wraith from “The Gift”
Spoiler:
The wraith are human/(those creatures from “38 Minutes”) hybrids
are there any plans to explain why the ancients came to Pegasus galaxy and how the wraith become so powerful so fast.

Thanks for your answers. And I have two questions in addition :
1.: I would like to ask you if there's any chance that the athosians can return to their homeworld.
2.: And are we going to see the Ancient city of Athosia again?
Thank you.
