BTW - I've not been following anything happening in the Infirmary. If Nick was supposed to make an appearance there, I didn't catch it.

Hmm, yes it is. My last post was only two posts up and a read through the last ones to refresh ones memory before hitting replay isn't that hard
I guess an edit is to ask for too much, is it?

FYI:
Went through a case report of hyperthermia the other day and the procedure of getting someone in to cold water is not the preferable way to handle this.
It causes peripheral vasoconstricition, the blood vessels contracts to preserve body heat and thus the core temperature does not go down.
The best way to actually get the temp down, unless you want to go invasive, is to strip the patient of all the clothing, spray 15C water over the body and use fans to get the air to circulate...

but then again, *shrug* who cares...
